H.O. would like to invite all to join us for the “be like brit” 10mile bike ride in support of the be like brit foundation. The ride will be held on june 16 2012 in Wells Maine at 7 am! Come help us support a great cause! The ride is to help raise money and support for the “Be Like Brit” foundation. It’s named after Britney Gengal, who died in Haitis massive earthquake while volunteering at an orphanage.

Howard Oven, owner of H.O. Electric, said “Although we make donations to different charities through out the year, it is more important to us as a company to participate and show support for our favorite causes.” This attitude is what has made H.O. Electric a leader in community activism, and helps promote the core values that the company live by. “Any one can write a check”, said Mr. Oven, “but going out and being there to show that we really care and want to rally support means more to the people and causes than just a check in the mail.” H.O. Electric has been supporters of many causes, including The Clothesline Project (which helps victims speak out against domestic violence), The Walk for Hunger, The Feast of Five,The Fisher House, MS Challenge Walk, and the Pan-Mass Challenge.
